The podcast

Strategy. Creativity. Support.

Kollective Playground is a creative podcast studio for people with something worth putting into the world.

We’re here for the big plans, the rough beginnings, the shows already doing their thing and the hosts who could really use another brain on the podcast.

Over the years, that’s included business coaches, health professionals, creatives, brand strategists, performance coaches, fashion influencers and plenty in between. Different worlds, but usually the same thing in common: they genuinely care about what they do and the people they’re doing it for.

Strategy, launches, production, education, creative thinking and plenty of support along the way. Basically, we know our way around a podcast and we give a damn about the person behind it.

Hey there,

The brain behind Kollective Playground

For almost ten years, I’ve been wearing plenty of hats. Podcast strategy and production, video, design, marketing, systems and all the other bits that somehow find their way into running a creative business.

Along the way, I’ve worked with business owners, educators and storytellers to take what they know, turn it into something worth listening to and get it out to the people who need to hear it.

Turns out, I really like helping people and make bloody good things.

i'm rachelle.

Let's rewind for a minute.

Kollective Playground didn’t start with some grand plan to build a podcast studio.

Back in 2017, I started my business doing a bit of everything. Design, websites, marketing, admin, systems, content. I quickly became the go-to Swiss Army knife. The person you could throw something at, trust to figure it out and know it would come back done well, with a bit of creative thinking thrown in for good measure. Then podcasting found its way into the mix.

One podcast became another, then another, and somewhere along the way I realised it brought together a ridiculous number of things I loved doing. Creativity, strategy, problem solving, learning about people and their work, pulling all the moving pieces together and turning something someone had in their head into something other people could actually experience.

But the part that stuck with me most wasn’t the production. It was the people.

I’m a ridiculously curious person. Surface-level has never really been my thing. I want the interesting story, the weird little detail, the fun fact you didn’t think anyone would care about and the rabbit hole that somehow started with your business and ended with us talking about aliens, human behaviour or the meaning of life.

My brain tends to have seventeen tabs open at once. I spot connections between things that probably shouldn’t connect, ask a lot of questions, get very excited when I learn something new and can happily disappear down a research rabbit hole because one tiny detail caught my attention.

Interesting people. Interesting things. A bit of depth. I’m ya gal.

Getting to know what someone knows. Hearing the stories and experiences they carry around with them. Seeing their confidence grow as they realise they have something valuable to say and people wanna hear it.

That became the bigger idea behind Kollective Playground. Podcasting is what we do, but people are why I care so bloody much about doing it well.

What matters around here

Human connection comes first

Podcasting has always been about people. That's why I care just as much about the person behind the mic as I do the podcast itself. You'll never be just another client or another show. I'm here to support YOU, cheer you on and genuinely care about what you're creating.

Putting the Play in Playground

The ripple matters

A podcast episode might only last 30 minutes, but the impact can last a whole lot longer. One conversation can help someone feel understood, learn something new or see the world a little differently. That's the kind of ripple I care about creating.

Life's too short for work that feels meaningless. I love what I do, and I want you to enjoy the process too. Around here, creativity, curiosity, quality and having a bloody good time can all exist in the same room.
